- How long: Worship service is about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
What to expect when you walk in: When you enter from the street entrance, there will be someone to greet you and hand out our weekly bulletin. We do have a gift for first time visitor and ask for a card to be filled out with some way for us to contact you if you are interested. We have a pretty relaxed environment with no pressure to give. Please note that there are other church entrances, but the street entrance is the best entrance until you learn your way around.
What to wear: Most people dress casually, so wear whatever you normally wear. Pastor Dan will often wear jeans and a nice shirt, and sometimes will even have cowboy boots on.
What the service is like: There will be multiple people who pray or read scripture. Our worship is a blended style of worship, with mostly contemporary worship songs. Our worship is passionate, but never showy. Many people even feel comfortable with raising hands during worship. Pastor Dan preaches mostly expository in series through books of the Bible in a very relatable and applicable way.
Kids: We offer a nursery, toddlers church and a junior church for age 5-5th grade. The junior church kids always start upstairs and then the Pastor will release them to go to the Fellowship Hall during the message. Infants are welcome upstairs if they are comfortable.
A Message from Pastor Dan: Hey! I'm super excited that you are considering visiting us. Our goal is that you will feel welcomed and comfortable. Our church feels like a family, but our services are well run with an emphasis on learning and growing. So, no one is ever embarrassed in any way. I only say that because some of you have gone to churches where they embarrassed you. What I want most for every one of my congregates is to see them grow closer to God. That means that I am aware that we all have a past and God meets you wherever you are in life, so we seek to do the same. I promise that you will feel comfortable no matter what life has thrown at you!
