Grow Deep Roots in God’s Love: Finding Strength Through the Spirit

How do roots grow deep? Through consistent watering from God’s Word. Through the life-giving presence of the Holy Spirit. Through allowing God to till the hard places in our hearts and weed out what’s choking our growth. When our roots grow deep into God’s love, we become like trees planted by streams of water—bearing fruit, never withering, prospering in what we do.

Experience the Love That Changes Everything

Paul prays that we would “experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully” (Ephesians 3:19). Notice he doesn’t just pray that we’d know about God’s love intellectually—he prays we’d experience it personally.

God’s love is vast—wider, longer, higher, and deeper than we can comprehend. It’s a love that doesn’t punish us as our sins deserve. A love that removes our sins as far as the east is from the west. A love that nothing can separate us from—not death, not life, not our worst failures or deepest fears.

When we truly experience this love, it transforms us from the inside out. We’re filled with “the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” This isn’t just about eternity—it’s about living a rich, satisfying life right now.
